Past performance of Forge graduates does not guarantee future results for all individuals. All technical careers carry inherent risks based on market conditions and individual performance. Flexible Financing Pathways
At Tech Skills Forge, we believe that financial constraints should never prevent a dedicated individual from pursuing technical mastery. We have developed several financing models designed to accommodate different economic situations.
Income Share Agreements (ISA)
For qualifying students in our immersive tracks, we offer an Income Share Agreement. This allows you to pay a $2,000 upfront deposit and defer the remainder of your tuition until you are earning at least $50,000 annually. You then pay a fixed percentage (10%) of your gross monthly income for a maximum of 36 months, with a total payment cap of $22,000.
Installment Plans
We offer interest-free monthly installment plans for those who prefer to pay as they learn. For the immersive program, this typically involves a $3,500 down payment followed by 12 monthly payments of $1,000.
Scholarships & Grants
Tech Skills Forge is committed to increasing diversity and representation within the technology sector. We offer several scholarship programs targeted at underrepresented groups and those who have served our country.
Veteran Technology Grant
In partnership with several veterans' organizations, we offer a $3,000 grant toward any immersive program for honorably discharged veterans. This grant can be combined with other financing options to minimize out-of-pocket costs.
Women in Architecture Scholarship
This $2,500 scholarship is awarded to women and non-binary individuals who demonstrate exceptional promise in the fields of software engineering or cybersecurity. Applications are reviewed quarterly by our Head of Curriculum, Sarah Jenkins.
Austin Opportunity Grant
Dedicated to local residents of Travis County who are transitioning from low-income roles into technology. This grant provides up to $4,000 in tuition assistance based on demonstrated financial need.
Economic Outcomes & ROI
While we do not guarantee specific salaries, the return on investment for technical education at the Forge is substantial. According to our 2025 Graduate Outcomes Report, the median salary increase for immersive graduates within 6 months of program completion was $32,000. This data is based on survey responses from 84% of our 2025 cohort.
Students should consider the total cost of attendance, including living expenses during the 16-week immersive phase. We recommend that students have at least 4 months of living expenses saved if they are not utilizing our ISA pathway, as the program intensity does not allow for external employment during the immersive weeks.
Our admissions team is available for one-on-one financial consultations to help you model your potential career trajectory and select the financing pathway that best suits your risk profile. We are dedicated to providing clear, honest information about the costs and benefits of our programs, ensuring you make an informed decision about your future.
